c2Ventures Limited Funding Channels
We
offer our own experienced technology and media oriented network of professional
certified business angels and advisors. In addition we have access to and
preferred introducer status with many of the smaller and specialist technology
and media angel groups, government funds and venture capital organisations,
many of whom keep a very low profile.
In
all c2Ventures numbers over 200 private angels and short cut access to another
250 other VCs, VCT, funds and family offices.
In addition
c2Ventures is a founder member of the British Business Angel Association,
(BBAA) dedicated to the continuous improvement of the standards and
effectiveness of angel networks in the
UK
.
C2Ventures had long campaigned for the setting up of such a quality driven
standards association where investors and entrepreneurs alike could benefit
from better quality service and more effective funding opportunities. C2V’s
initial work covered the specification of the standards, structure and
operating guidelines upon which the BBAA now operates.
We also work with
many regional initiatives, such as the Oxford and Cambridge ARC, and are
members of the European Commission’s Gate2Growth Initiative allowing
access to suitably qualified investors and entrepreneurs seeking assistance.
Unlike the majority
of other Angel Networks, c2Ventures works with all funding channels. Over the
last two years c2Ventures has invested heavily in nurturing contacts,
appropriate companies, other Angel networks, institutions, funds and regional
venture capital funds, as well as having its own small network of certified
angels.
